(added 3/9/19)
If you scroll down to my post dated 11/15/17 you will see another activity by Kevin Parry. Not only are his videos hilarious, some of them work very well in the Physical Education setting. This is another one. Below you will see a couple of examples as well as his original video. I chose the ones that I thought were the most active. Thank you again Kevin!!!

Rebus Fitness
(added 10/30/18)
Do you know what a "Rebus" is? Definition: a puzzle in which words are represented by combinations of pictures and individual letters; for instance, apex might be represented by a picture of an ape followed by a letter X. Well, I made some based on fitness and/or movement related Physical Education activities...
I also made 2 different PowerPoints. Instructions are on the first slide of each presentation. Have fun!!!

True Or False Fitness
(added 5/20/18)
A quick and easy fitness game. First, show the question. If the students think the answer is True, they do that exercise, if they think it's False, they do the other. After 30-45 seconds stop and reveal the correct answer. The more creative the questions, the better! Here are some to get you started...
Rock, Paper, Scissors Class Vs. The Computer
(added 5/19/18)
ClciWho doesn't love Rock, Paper, Scissors?!?! Basically this is how it works:
Have all students spread out in personal space facing the projector screen. Ask them to all pick Rock, Paper, or Scissors chanting the words "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Throw!" all together. Then show the first slide (See sample slide below). Based on if the won, lost, or tied they perform the exercise indicated for 30-45 seconds.. Repeat until all 6 slides are done. All images are animated GIFs that show students how to perform each activity. Click on the Class Vs. Computer R,P,S button to download a PowerPoint of the game. Have fun!!!

Class Protocols (Lining Up)
(added 3/17/18)
I finally decided to make a series of class protocol animated GIFs showing the correct and incorrect way to do certain procedures in class. Feel free to use these or, better yet, create your own!

"Walking" Movement Awareness Activity
(added 11/15/17)
I viewed this on Twitter and had to create an activity for my students. Extremely creative Kevin Parry did the original video. I edited it into a PowerPoint and removed some that I didn't think would be appropriate for Phys. Ed. class (You'll see some if you watch the video version).
Queen Does Sqairs
(added 10/30/17)
Thank you very much to the kind folks at Sqairs! I love these things. Super durable and they have a variety of uses. Please visit their website for more great ideas...
"Level Up" Video
(added 8/4/17)
I searched on YouTube for a fun and easy way to teach my students the concept of "Levels" in Physical Education. I couldn't find one, so I made one. I used an app called Bitmoji to create myself in cartoon fashion then some images from this website:
http://www.freeclipart.pw/clipart_images/body-chest-clipart-17150
I then added them together with the Comic Life 3 app and imported them into iMovie and Pinnacle Studio apps to produce the final product. Whew!!!

jitterbug app
(added 5/9/15)
Did you know that there are apps for cats? Did you know that if you connect a projector to your iDevice and project it on a wall it's a great way for your students to practice overhand throwing at moving targets (Other than playing an inappropriate game like dodgeball)? Jitterbug is very cool.

abc balance workout
(added 10/5/14)
