Using page sized stickers, I printed out "covers" for these Jedi Journals. My goal was to be able to read about my students and learn more about them through journal entries throughout the year. I asked them questions such as "what is your favorite way to stay active outside of school." In addition, I would write in each journal about the connection we had with each other.
