p.e. podcasts
On this page, I highlight podcasts that discuss Physical Education / Health Related content. What is a "Podcast"?
PODCAST: A digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or portable media player, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically. (Oh, and by the way, they are almost always free!!!)

Global Phys.Ed. Voxcast
(added 8/14/20)
Wait, Voxer & Podcast together? Yes indeed. Great interview and content from some of Physical Education's best minds. Maybe one day I can find the one I was on. That was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

the physedagogy podcast
(added 1/17/15)
Although fairly new to the podcast scene (First episode aired December 16, 2014), this podcast has the potential to be the "go to" podcast for all Physical Education teachers. Great discussions about Physical Education, best practices, and tons more. Click on the link to go to the iTunes podcast page.

p.e. geek podcast
(added 1/17/15)
When it all comes down to it, every Physical Education website, book, and podcast will probably be compared to "The P.E. Geek" version of all of those. Jarrod Robinson leads the way in so many areas in the world of Physical Education and his podcast is no exception. Click on the link below to go to his podcast section on the iTunes store.

HEALTHIER MINDS AND BODIES PODCAST
(ADDED 4/25/13)
For those of you not familiar with the Podcast section of iTunes, let me tell you it is a goldmine of great stuff for PE teachers. Kevin Morrow has created several (27) audio and video podcasts that you can use in your PE classes. From general movement to warmup activities to sports skills this podcast has it all. Great stuff.

bbc - school radio
(added 12/23/12)
From BBC (the British Broadcasting Company) comes tons of audio recordings that can be used in Physical Education classes. From Dance podcasts to creative movement podcasts, there something for everyone here. I use them in the beginning of class for younger students to explore creative movements like exploring the moon, going to the seashore, or juggling and walking on a tightrope.
